Ahh... piano teachers. Mine trained in Germany and was very strict with supernaturally sensitive hearing. If my nails were just the slightest bit too long, they would make this barely audible clickity-clack noise against the ivory keys. He would promptly hand me nail clippers. I could not grow out my nails for the longest time and to this day, prefer them short. Dear H, you are making me blush. Ahh… piano teachers.
