I have a brief bio of her in one of my books. She seems to have been a good person, a kind and loyal friend, but she made a lot of bad career decisions. In her final years she wound up a terrible drunk and her movies are largely forgotten. I do love "Trouble in Paradise," though, and since you like William Powell, if you haven't caught "One-Way Passage" you should. It is a four-hankie romantic melodrama as good in its way as "Back Street." And The House on 52nd St. is supposed to be good, though I never saw it. I thought about using a couple of other less circulated photos, but they are black and whites and I just love how her make-up looks, as well as the color of the sweater and so forth. A perfect outfit, in my book. Faye has seriously never looked better. Just look at her cheekbones in that shot.
